Underwater fishing with harpoon gun and harpoon is generally permitted in inland water bodies and at sea on the basis of a paid recreational fishing right, outside listed prohibited/seasonal areas.

Recreational fishing right (fee) required; no scuba, no artificial light; harpoon must be fired from a harpoon gun; up to 3 devices; 15 kg/species daily limits.
