Zone de protection renforcée de L'Hermitage

Reef-platform zone de protection renforcée (Niveau 2) of the Réunion marine reserve off L'Hermitage-les-Bains (commune of Saint-Paul), surrounding the Trois Chameaux integral sanctuary. Spearfishing is prohibited under Article 21 of Décret n° 2007-236 ('La pêche sous-marine est interdite dans les zones de protection renforcée'); crossing the zone with a loaded underwater weapon is forbidden and the foëne is banned reserve-wide. Defined by decree boundary points PR11, BGP1, BGP2 and PR14.
