Locally managed marine area / conservation area on Nukufetau atoll, encompassing most of the lagoon; managed by the Kaupule. Listed in WDPA/Protected Planet (WDPA ID 555547861). FAO/FishCode Review No. 19 reports that on Nukufetau 'spear fishing has supposedly been forbidden,' though observance of the law is poor. Coordinate is the atoll centroid (lagoon).
