Hvordan harpunfiskeri behandles ved Marshall Wetlands (Ramsar Site).
Coastal mangrove and estuary wetland (~12,168 ha) in Margibi County where the Farmington, Junk and Gbage rivers meet the Atlantic near Marshall town. Designated a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance (Ramsar #1630, 2 Feb 2006) and a candidate national protected area being gazetted by Liberia's EPA/FDA. The site has sandy and rocky shores and a mature mangrove ecosystem with restored/restricted use. As a protected coastal wetland, unrestricted extractive activity (including spearfishing) is not appropriate and fishing here is regulated; confirm status with NaFAA/EPA before any underwater fishing.
