Iles de Loos (waters around Roume, Kassa, Tamara)

Island archipelago off Conakry where fishing camps operate sport fishing and spearfishing (chasse sous-marine) trips. The island group is also a designated Marine and Coastal Protected Area, so spearfishing there is permitted in practice but subject to MPA management rules and, for organised sport-fishing operations, to the Article 44 authorisation.

Subject to protected-area management; organised sport fishing requires ministerial authorisation (Art. 44); protected species (Art. 49) and shark-finning ban (Art. 48) apply.
