Dadohaehaesang National Park (다도해해상국립공원)

South Korea's largest national park, designated 23 December 1981, spanning ~2,321.5 km2 of which ~1,986.6 km2 is marine area across seven coastal areas in the South and West seas (Shinan-gun through Jindo, Wando, Goheung to Yeosu; includes Hongdo, Heuksando, Baekdo). Within this marine national park the nationwide statutory ban on non-fishermen using spears/spearguns and scuba-assisted harvesting applies, reinforced by national-park protection of marine resources.
