The only fully marine national park in the Dominican Republic (~12 km2), ~20 km east of Santo Domingo, stretching from Las Golondrinas Cave to Punta Caucedo. Under Art. 43 of Law 307-04, any fishing inside protected-area limits requires a Ministry of Environment permit; this is a no-take dive park where spearfishing is prohibited.
