Tara bandu Locally Managed Marine Area declared in June 2024 by the Lian-lidu, Marmer and Behau communities, in the Uma-Caduac village (Ilimano sub-village), Laclo administrative post, Manatuto municipality. Covers 1.34 km2 of marine space extending up to 1 km from the coast, from Sahui Wari to Ai-Lohre. Closed to all fisheries activities (including spearfishing) for five years under tara bandu rules.
