Waikiki Marine Life Conservation District (Oahu, Hawaii)

Marine Life Conservation District at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki Beach, Oahu (~76 acres, established 1988), extending from the Kapahulu Avenue groin to the west wall of the Waikiki War Memorial Natatorium, seaward at least 500 yards. All fishing and spearfishing are prohibited; possessing any device capable of taking marine life in the water is banned. Safety knives, shark billies, bang sticks, powerheads, and CO2 injectors may be carried for personal safety.
