At Western Beach, underwater fishing with or without a weapon is permitted ONLY during 1 October to 30 April under a Class C permit (reg 21(2)(e)). Western Beach is a sandy beach in the north-west of Gibraltar by the airport, on the verge of the border with Spain (Bay of Gibraltar side).
