Parc naturel marin de Mayotte (entire territorial waters and EEZ)

The Mayotte Marine Natural Park, created by Decree n°2010-71 of 18 January 2010 and managed by the Office francais de la biodiversite, covers the entirety of Mayotte's territorial waters and EEZ (approx. 68,300 km2). It does not ban all spearfishing outside the lagoon but governs the wider marine environment and enforcement against illegal lagoon spearfishing.
