Fishing or any activity obstructing maritime navigation is prohibited at Ras Laffan Port on Qatar's northeast coast, one of the world's largest LNG export facilities, to ensure safe marine traffic at the port entrance and navigation channels (General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security).
