First fishing zone (lagoons, rivers and coastal waters out to 6 nautical miles) ನಲ್ಲಿ ಈಟಿ ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
Salt and brackish waters of lagoons and rivers up to 6 nautical miles from the baselines, reserved for artisanal fishing and aquaculture. Sport fishing is authorised in all zones cited in Article 10 (Art. 18); this inshore zone is where freediving spearfishing in apnea is practicable.

Open periods set by regulation; fishing outside open periods is sanctioned (Art. 87).

Submit a written application to the maritime fishing authority ('autorité de la pêche maritime') stating organiser name/address, participants' names, the fishing zone and site, and the fishing means used (Art. 19).
