Kā zemūdens medības tiek izturētas State natural protected areas (arii naturale protejate de stat) and zones prohibited for any fishing vietā.

Per Art. 16(1) of Law 149/2006, recreational fishing is excluded from state protected natural areas and zones prohibited for any fishing. Spearfishing is in any case prohibited nationwide.
