The General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security prohibits entry of marine vessels, jet skis and swimming at the Doha Corniche, and bans approaching, fishing or engaging in recreational/marine activities in this and other designated restricted areas for safety and security. Spearfishing is not permitted in this restricted coastal zone.

Nepieciešama licencecaur Fisheries Department, Ministry of Municipality (formerly Ministry of Industry and Agriculture / Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture)

Apply to the Fisheries Department (Ministry of Municipality; historically Ministry of Industry and Agriculture). Licensee must be of good conduct and a competent swimmer. Use of harpoon-guns requires separate Fisheries Department permission.
