Recreational spearfishing on breath-hold is permitted along almost the entire Adriatic coastline of Montenegro with a valid sport-recreational fishing licence and speargun authorisation, outside marine protected areas, marked bathing areas (in season), ports/anchorages and military zones.

Diving centres/clubs may issue daily licences for spearfishing. Bring valid passport/ID and pay the fee.
