The reserve covers 50,340 ha, of which 4,570 ha is marine ('Sea Chilbo'), featuring steep rocky coastal cliffs and blended marine/terrestrial ecosystems. The coastal/marine zone is part of a managed conservation area where extractive recreational underwater fishing is not provided for.
