Kif is-sajd bl-isperunar jiġi ttrattata f'State natural protected areas (arii naturale protejate de stat) and zones prohibited for any fishing.

Per Art. 16(1) of Law 149/2006, recreational fishing is excluded from state protected natural areas and zones prohibited for any fishing. Spearfishing is in any case prohibited nationwide.

Issued by the Environment Agency (Agenția de Mediu) / Piscicol Service; online permits available. Note: this permit is for permitted gear only (rods etc.); spearfishing is prohibited and not licensable.
