Kif is-sajd bl-isperunar jiġi ttrattata f'Within 150 m of any fishing vessel or marked fishing gear.

Spearfishers must keep clear of professional fishing units and marked fishing gear; approaching within ~150 m of a fishing vessel or buoy-marked gear is reported as prohibited. Consistent with Art. 21 of Law 94-13 (recreational units must not impede professionals). Operational distance figure is secondary-sourced.

Conditions for recreational/sport fishing activity are fixed by arrêté of the Ministry of Agriculture (DGPA). Civil-liability insurance is commonly expected for spearfishers (secondary-sourced). Confirm current requirements with the DGPA before diving.
