Marine Life Conservation District (Beach 69) on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii Island, offshore of Waialea Bay between Kanekanaka Point and the point north of Ohai Point (~35 acres, established 1985). Spearfishing and possession of any device capable of taking marine life in the water are prohibited; hook-and-line is the only permitted finfish method. One of the best snorkeling sites on the Big Island.
