Island national park in the Gulf of Nicoya (4.49 km2 terrestrial + 9.95 km2 marine), Costa Rica's 30th national park (decree 9892, 2020). As a national park, all fishing/extraction is prohibited in its waters under Fisheries Law 8436 art. 9.
