All recreational fishing (a fortiori spearfishing, which is banned park-wide) is prohibited in the marine zone extending 1.5 nautical miles around Psathoura island, the northernmost island of the Alonissos Northern Sporades National Marine Park (Zone A2/A9 special regulations, KYA 23537/2003, FEK 621D/19-06-2003).
