Bukhtarma Reservoir spawning closure

Bukhtarma (Buktyrma) reservoir on the Irtysh (Yertis) River, East Kazakhstan region — the country's largest reservoir. Fishing, including spearfishing, is prohibited during the spring spawning ban; the riverine part (with Lake Zhaysan) is closed 16 April–30 May and the deep-water part 1 May–15 June.
