Jak traktowane jest łowiectwo podwodne w Ministry / government protected areas.
Fishing in areas protected by the Ministry or any government institution, in contravention of the guidelines relevant to the area, is separately prohibited under Section 12(b) of the General Fisheries Regulation R-75/2020 (fine of 3,500 Rufiyaa). This reinforces the spearfishing ban inside marine protected areas.
