Reservoir (formerly Lake Kyle, Kyle Dam on the Mutirikwi River) southeast/east of Masvingo, managed by ZimParks (~169 km2, lake ~93 km2 at capacity). Bass fishing is an attraction; fishing is governed by a ZimParks permit/licensing system. Spear/spear gun authorized nationally under s.93 of the Parks and Wild Life Act, subject to per-permit gear restriction.

Apply to the appropriate authority for the waters – the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks) for State waters and the Parks and Wild Life Estate, or the relevant local/appropriate authority; for Lake Kariba via ZimParks / Lake Kariba Fisheries Research Institute (LKFRI). Permits may also be obtained at national park offices and designated fishing hubs.
