At Catalan Bay, underwater fishing with or without a weapon is permitted ONLY during 1 October to 30 April under a Class C permit (reg 21(2)(e)). Catalan Bay is a former fishing village beach on the eastern (Mediterranean) side of the Rock, between Eastern Beach and Sandy Bay.
