Amateur and sport fishing with spearguns is permitted on water bodies and rivers generally, except state nature reserves and aquaculture/commercial-fishing/reproduction zones (point 2), outside public recreation zones (point 9), under permit/ticket.

ต้องมีใบอนุญาตผ่าน Authorized state fisheries management body (Department of Fisheries Complex under the Ministry of Agriculture / Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision)

From the authorized state fisheries management body, or from the user of the assigned water body. Electronic fishing permits are reported to be obtainable online (e.g. via the MegaPay app, per secondary sources).
