Réserve Naturelle Marine de La Réunion — Zones de protection renforcée (Niveau 2)

Reinforced-protection zones covering about 45% of the reserve (reef platforms off Saint-Gilles-Nord, L'Hermitage, La Saline, Saint-Leu, Pointe au Sel, L'Étang-Salé and others). Spearfishing is prohibited (Art. 21 of Décret 2007-236); it is also forbidden to cross such a zone carrying a loaded underwater weapon.
