Any fishing action is prohibited within these waters (vedado a essa navegação qualquer acção de pesca, de prospecção ou exploração submarinas). Established by Decreto-Lei n.º 40/2003, de 27 de Outubro.

Apply to the Direcção-Geral das Pescas (or a delegated entity) with a licence application, identity document (or club/association registration), and, for renewals, the prior licence. Minors under 18 need notarised guardian authorisation. Fees set by joint ministerial portaria. Clubs, sport associations and tourism operators may hold licence quotas (Arts. 20.º, 22.º, 25.º).
