British Gibraltar Territorial Waters (BGTW) - marine nature area

Underwater fishing with or without a weapon is permitted across the marine nature area within BGTW under a valid Class C permit, except in the prohibited Marine Conservation Zone hatched areas and subject to the seasonal beach limits, night-fishing ban, scuba ban and catch limits.

Class C permit required; no breathing apparatus; demarcation buoy required; no fishing sunset-sunrise; catch limits and minimum sizes apply; not in MCZ hatched areas.

Year-round except the six named beaches (1 Oct - 30 Apr only).
