Rara Lake, Nepal's largest lake, lies inside Rara National Park and is a Ramsar site. As with all Nepali national parks, fishing inside the park is restricted (DNPWC permit required; general no-fishing rule for protected areas under the National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act).
