Kalbarri Blue Holes Fish Habitat Protection Area (Western Australia)

The Blue Holes, a small set of sheltered limestone pools and channels immediately south of Kalbarri township on the Mid West coast, set aside by the Kalbarri Blue Holes Fish Habitat Protection Area Order 2007 (s.115 of the Fish Resources Management Act 1994). Regulation 113C(1) of the Fish Resources Management Regulations 1995 provides that a person must not fish in the Kalbarri Blue Holes waters, with no exceptions, so spearfishing is prohibited. Motor boats are also banned. The site is signposted and popular for snorkelling.
