ZEP I-Vilarrube (Reserva Marina de Interese Pesqueiro Ria de Cedeira, Galicia)

Special protection zone I of the Cedeira fisheries marine reserve: the water off Vilarrube beach between the lowest-low-water line to the south and the imaginary line Punta Robaleira - O Forno to the north (Decreto 28/2009 art. 3.2). Article 6, as corrected by the correccion de erros published in DOG 49 of 11 March 2009, prohibits all maritime fishing, all extraction of fauna and flora and all underwater activity inside the special protection zones, and its list of exceptions is closed: traditional gillnet fishing (in both special zones), goose-barnacle harvesting and sport diving in ZEP II, and expressly authorised scientific sampling. Article 4's permission of surface recreational fishing is expressly limited to the reserve outside the special zones, so it cannot reach ZEP I, where recreational diving is prohibited outright. Spearfishing is prohibited. The Orde do 18 de agosto de 2010 separately forbids carrying any instrument usable for fishing while diving or aboard the vessel.
