As an INPARQUES national park, extractive activities including underwater/spearfishing (pesca submarina) are prohibited (Decreto 276, Reglamento de Administracion y Manejo de Parques Nacionales y Monumentos Naturales, Art. 19, which lists commercial and underwater fishing among prohibited uses in national parks).

Apply at an INSOPESCA office with the form from the INSOPESCA website, RIPAC/Registro de Pesca enrollment, ID copy (100% enlarged), FVAS membership card copy (both sides, 100% enlarged), proof of payment of 2 tax units, and invoice or sworn declaration of speargun ownership. Visit the regional sub-office for speargun inspection and document signing, obtain the Porte de Arpon Deportivo from DAEX, then return to the sub-office to collect the definitive permit.
