Sevan National Park

Specially protected natural area surrounding Lake Sevan. Under the Law on Lake Sevan (Art. 7) the territory of 'Sevan' National Park constitutes the central ecological zone of the lake, and under Art. 10 any activity harmful to the lake ecosystem is prohibited in the central and impact zones. Use of fauna in specially protected areas is further restricted under the Law on Specially Protected Natural Areas and the Law on Fauna.
