Qué es esta zona
Resumen
Cómo se trata la pesca submarina en Special Purpose Puerulus Monitoring Area (Boullanger Island, Tern Island, Whitlock Island and Osprey Island), Jurien Bay Marine Park (Western Australia).
A special-purpose management area of Jurien Bay Marine Park covering the water enclosed by Boullanger, Tern, Whitlock and Osprey Islands, between 30°18.550’S and 30°19.393’S. Clause 5(1) of the Prohibition on Recreational Fishing (Jurien Bay Marine Park) Order 2005 prohibits all recreational fishing here and clause 5(2) restores one method only — a fishing line. This is the strictest of the park's special-purpose rules: unlike the shore-based and scientific-reference areas it does not even allow shore-based abalone or rock lobster take. Spearfishing is prohibited. Enforcement is by DPIRD fisheries officers; a western rock lobster puerulus (post-larval settlement) monitoring site in the island group west of Jurien.
