Tinderbox Marine Nature Reserve, Tasmania

Fully protected no-take marine nature reserve on the eastern side of the Tinderbox peninsula in the D'Entrecasteaux Channel south of Hobart. No fishing or setting of fishing gear is allowed anywhere in the reserve, so spearfishing is prohibited; snorkelling and diving (there is a marked underwater trail) remain welcome. The northern and western boundaries are marked by white paired poles, and fish caught outside the reserve may be landed at the boat ramp.
