Resumen

Cómo se trata la pesca submarina en Parque Nacional das Illas Atlanticas - Illa de Cortegada e Malveiras (Galicia).

The Cortegada / Malveiras unit of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park, in the inner Ria de Arousa. The same national-park regime applies: recreational fishing is a serious offence and diving requires express authorisation, so spearfishing is prohibited in the surrounding waters and tidal flats.

Licencia obligatoriaa través de Competent fisheries authority of the coastal Autonomous Community (órgano competente de la comunidad autónoma del litoral)

Apply through the fisheries authority of the relevant coastal Autonomous Community (online or in person). A medical certificate of fitness for underwater/free-diving (issued by a doctor qualified in hyperbaric/underwater medicine), or a valid federation licence covering the medical, plus suitable accident insurance, is generally required. ID (DNI for citizens; NIE/passport for foreigners) and payment of the regional fee are needed.
