AMP Tavolara - Punta Coda Cavallo — Zona A di riserva integrale (Isola di Tavolara: Cala di Levante - Punta del Papa)

Integral-reserve (zona A) core of the Tavolara - Punta Coda Cavallo Marine Protected Area, covering the sea off the north-eastern end of Tavolara island between the point south of Cala di Levante, Punta del Papa and the coastal point south-east of Punta del Passo Malo. All professional and recreational fishing — spearfishing expressly included — plus bathing and boat transit are forbidden here under the AMP's founding decree (D.M. 12 dicembre 1997, G.U. n. 47 del 26/2/1998) as rectified by D.M. 28 novembre 2001 (G.U. n. 42 del 19/2/2002) and under the 2014 execution regulation. A spearfisher may not enter the water with a speargun anywhere in this AMP, and this zona A is its strictest core.
