Fishing or any activity obstructing maritime navigation is prohibited at Mesaieed (Umm Said) Port, ~40 km south of Doha, to ensure safe marine traffic at the port entrance and navigation channels (General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security). Spearfishing not permitted.
