Resumen

Cómo se trata la pesca submarina en Bair Island State Marine Park (California).

State Marine Park over the waters below the mean high tide line inside the Bair Island Ecological Reserve, the restored tidal marsh between Redwood City and the Bay. Spearfishing is prohibited: 14 CCR 632(b)(63)(B) allows only 'the recreational hook and line take of species other than kelp from shore only', and 632(b)(63)(C) prohibits boating, swimming, wading and diving within the park. On top of that, 632(b)(63)(D) closes the park to all entry from 15 February to 20 May each year, and only waterfowl hunting under the general waterfowl regulations is separately allowed. Note that in practice there is no diveable water inside the park: it is restored tidal marsh plain reading roughly +1.0 to +1.3 m, and the navigable sloughs lie outside the park boundary. This entry records a legal restriction, not a dive site.
