Tijuana River Mouth State Marine Conservation Area (California)

SMCA at the Tijuana River mouth and Border Field, San Diego County (3.02 sq mi), the southernmost MPA on the California coast. Recreational take is limited to coastal pelagic species other than market squid, by hand-held dip net only; the commercial carve-out is a round haul net. No finfish may be taken by spear.
