Vandenberg State Marine Reserve (California)

Large no-take State Marine Reserve along the Vandenberg (Space Force Base) coast in Santa Barbara County (14 CCR §632(b)(95)). All recreational take, including spearfishing, is prohibited — the only take exception is activity identified by the base commander as mission-critical to base and commercial space-launch operations — and public entry may additionally be restricted by the department or the base commander.
