Erakor and Empten Lagoon Marine Protected Area

Marine and coastal protected area covering the connected Erakor and Empten (Emten) lagoon system at the southern edge of Port Vila, Efate. Listed in the World Database on Protected Areas as a Marine and Coastal Protected Area; an important mangrove/reef breeding ecosystem, falling within the Fisheries Regulations marine-reserve / closed-area protection regime.
