Kornati National Park

Fishing is prohibited throughout Kornati National Park under Article 15(1) of the park's Pravilnik o unutarnjem redu (NN 141/2010, as amended by NN 53/2011): 'Na području Nacionalnog parka ribolov je zabranjen.' The only exception is for park residents and property owners, on a licence from the park institution and using an exhaustive list of gears (set and trammel nets, fish pots, one crustacean pot, a squid jig, a bottom longline of up to 100 hooks, gigs without light) that does NOT include the speargun — so spearfishing is prohibited park-wide with no exception. Article 24 further prohibits the use or the possession on a vessel of any fishing gear not listed in Article 17, and Article 11(2) prohibits individual diving outside organised groups except with a special permit from the Ministry.
