Lastovo Islands Nature Park (Lastovsko otočje)

Lastovo Islands Nature Park (Park prirode Lastovsko otočje), an archipelago of 46 islands and islets with about 143 km² of marine area. Spearfishing is prohibited throughout the park EXCEPT at five named localities. Article 34 of the park's Pravilnik o unutarnjem redu (NN 154/2009) allows a maximum of two spearguns under a park licence, and Article 35 confines their use to: 'Hrid Mrkjenta Bijela – Hrid Mrkjenta Crna – Kopište – Pod Kopište – Bijelac'. Daylight only (sunrise to sunset), minimum age 16, no breathing apparatus and none aboard the boat, and a signal buoy of at least 10 litres attached to the weight belt or the diver. A special park licence, sold by the park institution, is required in addition to the national sport licence (Pravilnik NN 48/2026, Article 13; park Odluka of 27 January 2025), and the park director may suspend licence issuance. Assume the rest of the park is closed to the speargun.
