Come viene trattata la pesca subacquea a Tampolo Marine Park (Masoala National Park).

One of the three marine parks of Masoala National Park (Parc National, Décret n° 97-141 of 2 March 1997; 240,000 ha of which 10,000 ha marine), lying on the western — Antongil Bay — side of the Masoala peninsula off Tampolo/Marofototra, about 30 km south of Maroantsetra. It protects coral reef, seagrass beds and mangrove fringe. As a Parc National under COAP (Loi 2015-005), hunting and the capture of animals are prohibited over the entire extent of the park (Art. 14), sustainable-use rights do not apply over the whole extent of a Parc National (Art. 39), and undertaking chasse sous-marine (spearfishing) without the conforming opinion of the manager and the Ministry is an offence (Art. 55 §21). Spearfishing is not permitted.
