Corte Madera Marsh State Marine Park (California)

State Marine Park over the waters below the mean high tide line inside the Corte Madera Marsh Ecological Reserve, on the Marin County shore of San Francisco Bay east of Corte Madera. Spearfishing is prohibited on two independent grounds: 14 CCR 632(b)(58)(B) allows only 'the recreational hook and line take of species other than marine aquatic plants from shore only', and 632(b)(58)(D) prohibits swimming, wading and diving anywhere in the park - and under 14 CCR 28.90 a spearfisher is by definition a person floating or swimming in the water. Only lightweight hand-carried boats may be launched or operated here.
