Province Sud marine protected areas network (general)

Province Sud hosts the large majority of New Caledonia's marine protected areas (the great majority of the territory's MPAs; one in Province Nord, none historically in the Loyalty Islands). All fishing, including spearfishing, is prohibited inside réserves naturelles intégrales and most réserves naturelles. Boundaries are published on the Province Sud protected-areas map.
