Marine national park established in 2010 on the western/south-western coast of Grande Comore (Ngazidja), approx. 92.76 km2, protecting coral reefs and the volcanic caves that shelter the coelacanth. Fishing is restricted under the park management regime and the Fisheries Code's protected-area provisions.

A specific underwater-fishing fee ('droit sur la peche sous-marine', Art. 65) may also apply.
